Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Wireless Software Engineer for Starlink to design, implement, test, and maintain the wireless software stack across physical and MAC layers. You will contribute to hardware bring-up, debugging, and end-to-end integration of our satellite network.

The role requires a degree in CS/engineering or 2+ years of C/C++ software experience, with strong knowledge of wireless protocols and system-level debugging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM, or 2+ years' professional C/C++ software experience.
• Experience with wireless software or network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain physical and MAC layer software for the Starlink wireless stack.
• Architect current and next-gen Starlink hardware and signal processing algorithms.
• Hardware bring-up, debugging, verification, and launch.
• Cross-team collaboration for end-to-end system integration.
• Develop prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify constraints.
• Collaborate with engineers to plan and organize development of products.
