Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Wireless Software Engineer (Starlink) to design, implement, test, and maintain the wireless software stack and related algorithms across the Starlink system. You will work on firmware, embedded code, and real-time networking to connect thousands of satellites and millions of users.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, bring‑up hardware, optimize performance, and ensure reliability while embracing a fast-moving, innovative culture at SpaceX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM; OR 2+ years of professional software engineering with C/C++.
• Experience with wireless software or network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain the wireless software stack for Starlink.
• Architect current and next‑gen Starlink hardware and signal processing algorithms.
• Participate in hardware bring‑up, debugging, verification and launch.
• Collaborate with other teams for cross‑layer integration of the end‑to‑end system.
• Develop prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify constraints.
• Work with engineers to plan and organize product development.
