You will bring up chip-level PHY interfaces, optimize DSP algorithms, and collaborate across RTL, RF, MAC, and board teams to ensure robust performance. Qualifications

• Proven experience in wireless communications, with a strong focus on PHY layer design and integration.
• Solid understanding of DSP concepts and real-time DSP implementation.
• Experience with chip-level bring-up and hardware debugging.
• Experience with PHY/RF/MAC verification.
• Experience with RF parametric testing (EVM, ACPR, Rx sensitivity, blockers).
• Experience with lab equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMMs).
• Python programming is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth, WLAN, and UWB protocols.
• Verification, debugging, and constrained random testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and validate PHY layer components for wireless protocols.
• Implement and optimize DSP algorithms for modulation, demodulation, filtering, and error correction.
• Conduct FPGA and chip-level bring-up with power-on testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot integration issues at the chip level and root-cause problems.
• Develop and automate PHY/MAC testing scripts with RF test equipment.
• Validate algorithms on silicon alongside RTL, PHY, RF, MAC, and boards.
• Bring-up and productionize state-of-the-art PHY algorithms for wireless apps.
• Develop test plans and analyze results, debug issues.
