RedLion Mobile in Riverhead, NY is seeking Retail Sales Representatives who are energetic, driven, and customer-focused. You will work in our retail stores, helping residential customers connect to fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, and voice services from Optimum Communications.

The role offers an hourly base rate of $20 with unlimited commission opportunities, and requires reliable transportation, a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

Who We Are

We are a rapidly expanding branded partner for Optimum Communications – a major U.S. telecommunications provider offering fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, and voice services to customers across 21 states. You'll work in our retail stores, helping residential customers connect to the above essential services.

Hourly Base Rate: $20/hour + unlimited commission

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Product Knowledge

• Must be able to engage customers and present telecommunications products and services proactively.
• Must be comfortable selling mobile, internet, cable, TV, and related support services.
• Should know how to identify customer needs and recommend the right products or service packages.
• Must be able to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Must be able to meet or exceed individual sales goals, commission goals, and store performance expectations.
• Must be able to explain products, services, pricing, and promotions clearly to customers.

Customer Experience

• Must provide a positive, professional, and solution-focused customer experience.
• Should be comfortable building customer relationships and creating long-term brand loyalty.
• Must maintain high customer satisfaction standards, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.

Team & Organizational Success

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive, performance-driven culture.
• Must be willing to support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed and have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work in person at the assigned retail store location.

• Must have at least 1 year of customer-facing sales experience selling products, services, upgrades, or add-ons. Wireless, mobile, cable, internet, telecommunications, or retail sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to proactively engage walk-up customers, explain plans and promotions clearly, handle objections, and build repeat-customer relationships.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to travel within a 35-mile radius and have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs.
