Job summary

RedLion Mobility is hiring Retail Sales Representatives to join our growing team in the Hauppauge area. You will work in our retail stores, engaging residential customers and promoting Optimum Communications services including fiber Internet, mobile, TV and voice.

Compensation includes $20/hour plus monthly commissions with total annual compensation targeted at $45,000–$75,000. This in-person role requires the ability to stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer-facing sales experience preferred.
• Experience selling mobile, internet, cable, TV, or bundles preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Flexible schedule incl. evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and present telecom products and services.
• Identify customer needs and recommend the right packages; upsell when possible.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and store performance targets.
• Provide a positive, professional customer experience and build brand loyalty.
• Support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed and work in person.

Who We Are

We are a rapidly expanding branded partner for Optimum Communications – a major U.S. telecommunications provider offering fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, and voice services to customers across 21 states. You'll work in our retail stores, helping residential customers connect to the above essential services.

Pay: $20/hour + monthly commission
Expected Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Total Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 annually, based on hourly pay and commission performance
Work Location: In person

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Product Knowledge

• Must be able to engage customers and present telecommunications products and services proactively.
• Must be comfortable selling mobile, internet, cable, TV, and related support services.
• Should know how to identify customer needs and recommend the right products or service packages.
• Must be able to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Must be able to meet or exceed individual sales goals, commission goals, and store performance expectations.
• Must be able to explain products, services, pricing, and promotions clearly to customers.

Customer Experience

• Must provide a positive, professional, and solution-focused customer experience.
• Should be comfortable building customer relationships and creating long-term brand loyalty.
• Must maintain high customer satisfaction standards, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.

Team & Organizational Success

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive, performance-driven culture.
• Must be willing to support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed and have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work in person at the assigned retail store location.

• At least 1 year of customer-facing sales experience selling products, services, upgrades, or add-ons is preferred. Experience selling mobile or wireless services, home internet, cable or TV, or bundled telecommunications services is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience serving walk-in retail customers, explaining pricing and promotions, and upselling or cross-selling add-ons in a retail environment is a plus.
• Experience building repeat customer relationships in a retail sales environment is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs.
