Victra, the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States, seeks an Assistant General Manager for one of our Lewes stores. You will lead a sales team, mentor specialists, drive sales targets and manage store merchandising to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You will own performance metrics, coach one-on-one, handle daily operations, and partner with the General Manager. We look for candidates with retail or wireless experience, leadership ability, and a proven track record

Formación

• Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsabilidades

• Interviewing and hiring decisions for your store — helping bring in the best talent and developing the team you already have
• Provide training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience by handling customer flow and store traffic
• Identify selling skill gaps, then building and implementing development plans to help the team meet and exceed sales metrics and quota assignments
• Take ownership of your own individual sales performance on the floor — lead the numbers, don’t just manage them
• Taking direction from store leader on day-to-day operations while prioritizing to deliver on commitments under pressure
• Keep score daily — track your own performance and your team's key sales metrics every day, and coach in the moment
• Running store operations – analyzing staffing needs, reporting financial and sales data, handling cash, meeting compliance, opening trouble tickets with Facilities/Network/IT as needed to ensure store up-time and functionality
• Completing store opening and closing activities
• Collective responsibility on attaining store targets daily/weekly/monthly
• Model the standard Victra Greet on the sales floor — introduce yourself, get the guest's name, and ask what brings them in
• Leading your team by resolving customer issues and assisting with customer transactions
• Monitoring inventory by restocking shelves with product, maintaining device security, and managing the cleanliness of the store so every guest gets a great in-store experience
• Build reciprocal relationships with your team and fellow store leaders — use honest, compelling communication to earn their commitment and support
• Champion new merchandising standards and planogram changes as they roll out, leading your team through the change rather than just enforcing it
• Setting and sharing daily/weekly/monthly goals with sales teams
• Own the store's daily sales strategy alongside the General Manager: translate weekly/monthly goals into a clear plan for each shift, and adjust that plan as the day unfolds
• Lead by example on the sales floor, using your product expertise and confidence to influence how your team shows up for every guest
