Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Wireless Network Engineer to design, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless networks across large warehouse environments. The role emphasizes Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLCs, access points, RF engineering, and high-density deployments.

You will configure and maintain Cisco WLCs, diagnose connectivity issues, and optimize performance using Catalyst Center, Ekahau validation tools, and monitoring platforms.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse or large-facility wireless networks.
  • Strong understanding of wireless fundamentals and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with RF engineering, signal propagation, and antenna placement.
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and WLCs.
  • CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, manage, and support enterprise wireless networks across warehouse and large facilities.

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to support and optimize enterprise wireless infrastructure across large-scale warehouse and operational environments. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting wireless networks to ensure reliable connectivity in high-density facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong Cisco wireless expertise, hands‑on RF engineering experience, and a proven ability to resolve complex network issues in mission‑critical environments

Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, manage, and support enterprise wireless networks across warehouse and large‑facility environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Cisco Access Points.
  • Diagnose and resolve wireless connectivity, routing, and performance issues impacting business operations.
  • Manage and optimize wireless infrastructure using Cisco Catalyst Center.

Skills and Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer
  • Strong hands‑on experience supporting warehouse or large‑facility wireless networks
  • Solid understanding of wireless fundamentals with experience troubleshooting routes, wireless systems, Cisco FTD and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
  • Hands‑on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLCs, Cisco access points, and enterprise wireless deployments
  • Experience with RF engineering, including designing and implementing wireless networks with consideration for signal propagation, antenna placement, and environmental factors
  • Experience working with Cisco Catalyst Center
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues in high-density or operational environments
  • Proven experience using Ekahau for wireless validation and troubleshooting
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
  • Experience using LogicMonitor or other network monitoring tools
