Job description

Now Hiring: Network Engineer / Wireless Network Engineer

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer / Wireless Network Engineer to support and engineer enterprise WLAN/LAN environments, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.

• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise WLAN/LAN engineering experience
• Strong experience with Ekahau and/or AirMagnet for wireless surveys, heatmaps, and reporting
• Solid understanding of RF fundamentals, including:
• Roaming
• Interference mitigation
• High-bay and dock-door wireless challenges
• Working knowledge of structured cabling, MDF/IDF standards, and fiber/copper testing
• Experience with plant IT support, endpoint/peripheral troubleshooting, and Service Desk coordination
• Familiarity with ITAM/CMDB concepts, lifecycle management, discovery/reconciliation, and data quality
• Excellent written communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Manufacturing/warehouse networking experience is strongly preferred
