Job summary

Amentum is seeking casual CONUS/OCONUS Technical Engineering resources to support Wireless Intrusion Detection System installations at diverse sites. Work is planned in 2–4 week blocks every few months with flexible scheduling and varied site conditions.

Responsibilities include antenna and cable installations, field troubleshooting, and coordination with stakeholders. Strong safety, communication, and problem‑solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of signal flow and low‑voltage power systems.
• Experience with IT installation procedures and methods.
• Able to climb ladders and use scissor lifts.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install antenna/bracket assemblies in drop-ceiling locations.
• Pull and terminate ethernet and fiber optic cables as required.
• Transport equipment between locations and sites.
• Follow all Amentum safety standards during installation.
• Coordinate with customers and teams across locations.
