Job summary

CTG, a Cegeka company, seeks a Wireless Engineer, Strategic Technology for a client project in Morrisville, NC. This 12+ month contract involves researching and evaluating emerging wireless technologies and supporting testing, prototyping, and demos.

You will collaborate with engineering teams and vendors, develop demonstrations, and assist with wireless certification and regulatory requirements. A bachelor's degree in a related field and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience or internship in wireless engineering, RF, antennas, or IoT preferred.
• Experience with testing, prototyping, and concept development is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate wireless technologies including 5G/5G Advanced, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite communications, UWB, and RF/antenna technologies.
• Support wireless testing, analysis, prototyping, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, technology partners, and vendors to evaluate new connectivity solutions and industry trends.
• Document findings and communicate results to technical and business stakeholders.
• Assist with wireless certification, carrier approval, and regulatory requirements.
