Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience conducting enterprise wireless site surveys and RF validation.
• Experience collecting RF data and identifying interference sources.
• Experience preparing client-ready survey reports.
• Experience with 802.11 spectra and remediation recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite wireless validation and RF site surveys for a large campus.
• Collect RF data, perform spectrum analysis, and recommend AP optimization.
• Use Ekahau Site Survey or similar tools for surveys.
• Evaluate network performance against thresholds like -67 dBm and 20 dB SNR.
• Analyze 2.4/5/6 GHz bands and identify interference sources.
• Translate findings into actionable AP placement and channel utilization recommendations.
• Prepare clear client-ready survey reports.
• Work independently onsite in a large commercial office environment.
