Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Wireless and Edge Infrastructure Cybersecurity Engineer to harden a lab-built platform from BIOS to radio, and to turn that work into the security baseline for a government-demo platform.

You will own security end-to-end in a fast-moving lab, apply STIG and CIS benchmarks, implement network segmentation, manage vulnerabilities, and produce RMF artifacts to support an Authority to Operate.

Qualifications

• Experience hardening Linux to STIG/CIS benchmarks with evidence collection and remediation.
• Experience securing virtualized/containerized environments including Kubernetes, Docker, and hypervisors.
• Experience with network security incl. VLAN segmentation, ACLs, 802.1X, TLS or PKI for management traffic.
• Experience with RMF, NIST SP 800-53 controls, and artifacts for an ATO.

Responsibilities

• Own security hardening of the lab platform end-to-end, including GPU-accelerated servers and network devices.
• Apply STIGs/CIS benchmarks on Ubuntu, Kubernetes, hypervisors, and network devices.
• Design and implement network segmentation and access control across management, control, user, and timing planes.
• Build and operate vulnerability management for the lab, including Nessus/ACAS scans and remediation tracking.
