Job summary

A telecommunications infrastructure provider is seeking a Draftsperson to create various maps and drawings as per client and jurisdictional requirements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Drafting and some experience, along with familiarity in AutoCAD and Photoshop. Responsibilities include drafting site elevation drawings and traffic base maps. This position offers a competitive compensation of $25-27/hr and comes with additional benefits such as medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years of experience in drafting.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, versions 2005-2019.
• Knowledge of map reading skills (utility, topographic).
• Willingness to train in traffic base maps.

Responsibilities

• Create base maps for wireless designs using research.
• Draft field engineering notes to maps.
• Create detail sheets and site elevation drawings.
• Draft traffic base maps and temporary traffic control designs.
