Job summary

EchoStar is seeking an experienced mobile device tester to validate 4G LTE and 5G NR performance across iOS and Android devices. You will conduct manual and automated tests, analyze logs, and work with OEM vendors to ensure hardware meets stringent standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of wireless testing experience, strong diagnostic skills, and ability to communicate findings clearly. In‑person interviews may include whiteboarding and technical assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in mobile device testing or wireless technical verification.
• Experience with iOS/Android platforms, ADB tools, and network protocol log capture/analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated test suites across iOS, Android devices, tablets, and wearables to verify technical requirements and standards.
• Analyze device logs to identify root causes of call failures and throughput bottlenecks in LTE/5G networks.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and OEM vendors to validate pre‑release hardware and ensure data integrity.
• Document bugs with clear replication steps in tracking systems to drive timely resolution.
• Maintain lab environments, flash pre‑release firmware, and configure network simulators for call/data scenarios.
