Socket.dev's Wireless Developer Tools team is seeking a developer tools engineer who loves optimization to improve, debug, and innovate tooling across the software lifecycle. You will automate development workflows, enable device testing automation, and scale developer lifecycle automation tools inside our Wireless ecosystem.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Software profiling and optimization background
• Passion for using or improving development tools
• Understanding of Operating System fundamentals
• Ability to analyze and visualize core concepts of new technologies
• 1+ years of python development experience
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Proficient in using version tracking systems like git
• Have some experience working with frontend, backend and databases
• Have some automated testing experience

Responsibilities

• Automate development workflows across the toolchain.
• Automate device testing and validation processes.
• Scale developer lifecycle automation tools within Wireless Dev Tools ecosystem.
• Assist in deploying web portals and tooling dashboards.
• Mine data and create visualizations for analysis to improve tooling and workflows.
