Job summary

Apple, Inc. seeks a Wireless RF OTA Connectivity Validation Engineer in Santa Clara to validate radiated performance across WLAN, BT, UWB, and GNSS.

You will translate requirements into test cases, execute OTA plans, support third‑party lab testing, and debug issues with RF hardware, antennas, and software teams. Joining a cross‑functional group, you will help shape certification strategies, refine test setups, and contribute to new connectivity technologies while ensuring conformance to

Qualifications

Hands‑on experience with antenna design, anechoic chambers, and RF test equipment.
Solid understanding of RF component characteristics and behavior.
Experience with wireless technologies such as IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth, GNSS, LTE, GSM, UMTS or CDMA.

Responsibilities

Drive wireless performance validation across carrier and industry certification test setups, including final certification at third‑party labs (PTCRB, CTIA, CWG).
Translate carrier, regulatory, and industry requirements into actionable test cases for validation, performance, and compliance.
Define and execute validation plans for custom software features.
Debug marginal and failure tests with cross‑functional teams and drive design changes to address issues.
Own and improve test setups and ensure labs are calibrated and ready for testing.
Plan and execute final certification testing at third‑party labs for PTCRB, CTIA, and CWG.
Contribute to evolving Apple's wireless characterization methodologies as new technologies emerge.
