Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Texas is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage and support warehouse operations, including wire picking and cutting. The role requires PIT proficiency, physical work, and adherence to safety standards. You will stage, unload, and move materials, while supervising a team and ensuring quality and accuracy across daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• PIT proficiency with reach truck, order picker; current certification a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and operate machinery for cutting and measuring wire.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals in English.
• Long and varied hours may be required occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse associates.
• Supervise wire picking and wire cutting.
• Ensure wire product is handled properly to avoid damage during cutting, storage or shipment.
• Operate within SOPs and OSHA safety standards.
• Stage product for loading.
• Unload materials from truck.
• Move materials to warehouse for storage.
• Responsible for quality control; no damaged product or material.
• Operate PIT equipment (stand up, reach truck, order picker, sit-down forklift).
• Complete daily and weekly PIT and quality process logs.
• Clean and maintain work areas.
• Develop and lead a team of warehouse associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
