Job summary

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union in Notre Dame, IN is seeking a Wire Processing Support role to provide internal and external support for processing wire transactions in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, while following loss mitigation procedures for all wire processing.

You will collaborate with internal partners and members, verify instructions, monitor OFAC and AML compliance, and cross-train in ACH, Share Draft and Card Services to assist as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required; Associate Degree preferred.
• 6–12 months related experience and/or training.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, verify, and release outgoing wire transfer requests from internal partners and external members.
• Analyze and process incoming wire transfer requests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Conduct calls to customers to verify wiring instructions when necessary.
• Reviews OFAC exceptions and takes appropriate action.
• Monitor reports and complete maintenance requests.
• Research and respond to wire-related inquiries from branches, internal departments, and other financial institutions.
• Provide excellent customer service, risk mitigation and support for all wire inquiries.
• Monitor wire transfers for suspicious activity and escalate as needed.
• Cross-train in ACH Processing, Share Draft Processing, and Card Services.
• Assist in BSA/OFAC/AML compliance requirements and related policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
