Job summary

Robins Financial Credit Union in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Wire Transfer Specialist (Administrative) to coordinate and process member and corporate wire transfers through the Federal Reserve system, ensuring compliance and risk controls.

The role includes escalation of complex transfers, daily balancing and reconciliations, and collaboration on audits, procedure reviews and system testing, with opportunities to support ACH and other payment functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process incoming and outgoing member and corporate wire transfers through the Federal Reserve Bank system.
• Ensure wire transfer compliance with OFAC requirements and applicable banking regulations.
• Review wire transfer activity for potential fraudulent trends and elevate concerns as appropriate.
• Serve as the primary operational escalation point for complex wire transfer transactions, exceptions, and processing issues.
• Perform wire approvals within assigned authority.
• Coordinate daily wire workflow and provide operational guidance to Wire Transfer Specialists.
• Perform daily and monthly wire transfer balancing and assigned general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with procedure reviews, audit preparation, system testing, and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide backup support for ACH and other Payment Services functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including supporting departmental projects, operational support functions, and continuing education activities.
• Complies with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
