Cambridge Savings Bank is hiring a Wire Services Specialist in Hybrid/Waltham, MA. You will initiate and verify domestic and international wires, partner with the BSA team for OFAC screening, and ensure timely processing with strict accuracy.

The role supports multiple departments and maintains detailed records for audits. Qualified candidates bring knowledge of wire transfer processes, compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of wire transfers processes and regulatory requirements (BSA, AML, OFAC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and errors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and customers.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to manage multiple tasks under high-pressure deadlines.
• Experience with reconciliation and reporting using MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate attention to detail and low margin for error; perform additional duties as needed.

WIRE SERVICES SPECIALIST

Detail-oriented and reliable Wire Processor responsible for ensuring accurate and timely process of incoming and outgoing wires while maintaining our core values. Will ensure efficient handling wire transfers, proactively resolve discrepancies, and maintain accountabilities for all transactions. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, including the BSA team to manage the OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Result Areas

• Initiate and verify international and domestic wire transfers for consumer, Small Business and Commercial customers.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies working with internal teams to address any issues and ensure a smooth transaction flow.
• Maintain a high level of accountability, documenting processes and ensuring all transactions are compliant with internal policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and generate reports as needed, contributing to audits and regulatory reviews.
• Manage the OFAC screening process in collaboration with BSA team, ensuring all wire transactions comply with regulatory requirements and are properly vetted.
• Coordinate and communicate with customers and cross-functional business partners to manage and resolve critical, time-sensitive transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Support the successful execution of time-sensitive transactions while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and service-level expectations.
• Ability to partner effectively with internal departments to resolve transaction-related inquiries and exceptions in a timely manner, minimizing customer disruption and processing delays.
• Assist with end-of-day reconcilement of all incoming and outgoing wire activity
• Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with very low margin for error.
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• High school education, additional certifications in banking Operations is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of wire transfers processes and regulatory requirements (BSA, AML, OFAC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and errors
• Strong MS skills, particularly Excel, for reconciliation and reporting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external customers
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and always maintain confidentiality.
• Requires flexibility and ability to manage multiple job functions simultaneously under high pressure timelines, while adhering to strict deadlines.

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA Salary Range: $24.95 - $33.27/hr

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $24.95 - $33.27/hr. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
