Job summary

Mid-West Fabricating Co is seeking a Team Member to load wire, feed it through a machine, and perform in-process adjustments to meet specifications. The role involves operating a draw block, using an overhead crane and forklift, and ensuring a clean, safe work area.

The ideal candidate understands blueprints, can use micrometers and calipers, and will collaborate across shifts to keep production moving efficiently while adhering to company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Welding knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain clean work area.
• Operate equipment like draw blocks and cranes as required.
• Coordinate with shift changes and communicate status clearly.

Responsibilities

• Load wire onto the machine and feed wire as instructed.
• Perform in-process adjustments to achieve correct specifications.
• Operate draw block and select the correct draw die sizes.
• Use micrometers, calipers, scales, gauges and blueprints for quality checks.
• Keep work area and tooling clean and organized, follow all safety rules.
