Job summary

Van Meter Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Wire Processor to support efficient order fulfillment. You will independently ensure delivery, receipt, and coordination of customer orders, including lifting pipe, cutting wire to specifications, and palletizing for delivery.

You will work with the Wire Processor Lead and team to maintain accuracy and safety. The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, forklift operation, and attention to inventory details.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Experience operating lift truck equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of Eclipse preferred.
• Handheld RF scanner experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer pipe and wire accurately.
• Receive and unload commodities from delivery trucks.
• Use forklift to locate inventory in warehouse.
• Prepare product for delivery by palletizing, banding, and labeling.
• Ensure proper loading for customer delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and tools.
