Scott Electric Company in Greensburg, PA, is seeking a hands-on Wire Operations Manager to lead all wire room operations. You will drive safe, accurate, and efficient processing of wire orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and excellent customer service across the company.

The ideal candidate has warehouse supervisory experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record of continuous improvement in a fast-paced wholesale electrical distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience in electrical distribution and wire and cable cutting required.
• Knowledge of electrical wire products, gauges, reel sizes; preferred.
• Experience operating wire-cutting and material-handling equipment.
• Strong leadership and employee-management skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel at least 25% of schedule.
• Proficient with Infor Cloud Suite Distribution ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of all warehouse wire rooms.
• Coordinate wire room workflow with warehouse, shipping, receiving, sales, purchasing, and operations personnel.
• Schedule and prioritize wire cuts based on customer requirements, delivery schedules, and workload.
• Maintain accurate wire inventory, including reel footage and locations.
• Protect safety, accuracy, productivity, and customer service across the department.
• Develop standardized procedures for cutting, measuring, labeling, staging, and inventory control.
