Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Wire Harness Process Engineer to translate customer engineering drawings into high-quality wire harnesses and cable assemblies. The role acts as a bridge between engineering, quality, and shop-floor manufacturing, developing clear work instructions and ensuring on-time, defect-free production in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You'll review drawings and BOMs, create SOPs and testing protocols, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to reduce cycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 4–7 years of > hands-on manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and BOMs
• Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings and BOMs to develop standard manufacturing instructions and layouts
• Diagnose and resolve shop-floor equipment and process issues to maintain workflow
• Support quality processes including PPAP, FAI, capability analyses, and 8D investigations
• Create and maintain SOPs, assembly routers, and testing protocols
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce cycle times and boost yield
• Collaborate across production operators, quality personnel, leadership, and customer teams
