Job summary

Cemen Tech Inc. in Indianola, IA is seeking a Wire Harness Assembler. You will build wiring harnesses by following engineered drawings, including crimping, stripping, and soldering as required, and assemble small components in a busy shop environment.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, with Monday–Thursday shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and overtime on Fridays/Saturdays during peak periods. Training and safety are emphasized in a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience or training in electrical wiring.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and related diagrams.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to follow written and diagrammed instructions.

Reports to:Electrical Shop Supervisor

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of this position is to build wiring harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and assembling wires according to work instructions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build wiring looms per engineered drawings, including stripping and crimping of wires.
• Assemble components, some very small.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports.
• Other duties to assist with department needs.

Education, Experience, & Computer Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Electrical wiring knowledge through experience or vocational training.
• Have basic electrical knowledge
  • ID EL components
  • Safe wiring practices
  • Trouble shooting
• Read and understand electrical blueprints.
• Use of power tools such as drill, jig saw, and knockout punch.
• Use of hand tools and tape measure.
• Ability to carry out direction in written, oral, or diagram form.
