The Kendall Group is seeking a Distribution Center Wire Associate to join our team in Portage, MI. You will help receive, store, and distribute products, operate wire cutting equipment, and assist in maintaining accurate inventory and timely shipments.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of warehousing and forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong teamwork and safety awareness. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and procedural training.

Formación

• 1 year of warehouse experience and 1 year of forklift experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use barcode scanners and standard warehouse equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and climb stairs.

Responsabilidades

• Queue management in Company business system.
• Train owner associates on proper procedures.
• Operate wire cutting equipment using hand and foot controls.
• Use hydraulic machinery to assist in coiling and spooling wire cut orders.
• Utilize manual hand tools and power hand tools for wire cutting operations.
• Perform distribution center activities including receiving, storage, selection for shipment, and shipment of stock.
• Handle customer returns/defects.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and promptly.
• Receive inventory accurately and promptly; restock as needed.
• Truck loading/unloading according to procedures.
• Operate forklift, hand trucks or other equipment.
• Inventory cycle counting and accurate inventory identification.
• Maintain quality and production standards; participate in housekeeping.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; report issues.
