Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. in Mason, OH is seeking an experienced Toolmaker with wire EDM experience to advance in advanced manufacturing technology. You will set up, program, and operate Makino or Mitsubishi WEDM machines, read GD&T, and develop fixtures and electrodes. The role emphasizes precision, inspection with CMMs, and adherence to AS9100/NADCAP quality standards.

Shift is 1st, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; up to $35/hour with competitive benefits.

Formación

• 5+ years' wire EDM experience with high-precision tooling.
• Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings to translate into CNC toolpaths.
• Experience with CMMs and gauging to maintain tight tolerances.
• Meet ITAR definition of US person.
• Experience with G&M codes.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate and program wire EDM machinery (Makino or Mitsubishi).
• Read GD&T and drawings to generate CNC toolpaths.
• Create/modify fixtures, tooling and electrodes for EDM processes.
• Inspect parts with CMMs and gauges to maintain tolerances.
• Work with tools and instruments for maintenance and calibration of shop tools.
• Operate lathes, mills, surface grinders, and related equipment in toolroom.
