Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an EDM Operator for the Mason, OH area. This role covers Plunge, Deep Tank, and Fast Hole machines with 1st and 2nd shift availability to support continuous production.

You will set up and operate wire EDM equipment, program using G-code, read blueprints, and participate in quality control. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork, with experience on Esprit CAM or Siemens NX preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in manual G-code programming and editing.
• Reading blueprints, tool & die drawings, and op sheets.
• Strong math skills at high school level and understanding of machine parameters.
• U.S. Person with a HS diploma or GED.
• Esprit CAM or Siemens NX experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, align, and secure fixtures and workpieces; maintain wire path and clean tanks daily.
• Load and edit CNC programs using G and M codes; optimize machine parameters with CAM software.
• Analyze blueprints and operation sheets to verify part conformance using precision tools and ERP.
• Develop recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce defects across rotary and linear axes.
• Adhere to PPE policies and keep a clean, organized workspace to ensure shift continuity.
