Job summary

Moeller Precision Tool in Antioch, TN is seeking a qualified Wire EDM Operator for the night shift. You will program, set up, maintain and run Mitsubishi EDM machines to manufacture precision parts.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating equipment, translating detailed part drawings into measurements, and performing inspections. The role requires basic math, blueprint reading, and strong mechanical skills, with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills up to algebra or higher.
• High school Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 10 hours per day.
• Proficient in EDM setup and operation.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with tool steel preferred.
• Experience with Mitsubishi EDM machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories.
• Set tolerance levels and speeds.
• Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
• Perform inspection on manufactured parts.
