Job summary

Moeller Precision Tool - South in Antioch, TN is seeking a qualified Wire EDM Operator for night shift. You will program, set up, maintain and run Mitsubishi wire EDM machines, inspect parts, and translate detailed drawings into precise measurements in a 60,000 sq ft, climate-controlled facility.

Requirements include basic math, a high school diploma or GED, blueprint reading, EDM experience, and the ability to work 45–50 hours weekly with overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Proficient in EDM setup and operation.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with tool steel preferred.
• Experience with Mitsubishi EDM machines preferred.
• Ability to work up to 10 hours a day (physical stamina).

Responsibilities

• Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories.
• Setting tolerance levels and speeds.
• Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
• Perform inspection on manufactured parts.
