Job summary

Avalign Technologies Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a skilled wire EDM operator responsible for setup and operation of wire EDM machines to fabricate medical instruments and implants.

This role requires a High School Diploma and 2+ years of wire EDM experience; shift is 2nd with a 15% premium. You will program, test, and adjust machines while reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years wire EDM machine experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wire EDM machines, finish machines, hand tools, and fixtures.
• Program EDM machines, verify and test programs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets and instructions.
• Use basic inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, comparators.
• Burr removal on all parts where required.
• Make machine adjustments, tool changes, etc. as required.
• Interface with Epicor Labor Entry system and monitor work orders.

Shift: 2nd, Monday - Thursday (4:30pm - 3:00am or 7:30pm - 6:00am)

15% shift premium for ALL 2nd shift hours worked!

What You’ll Do:

• Operate and maintain wire EDM machines, finish machines, hand tools, and fixtures.
