Responsibilities

• We are seeking an EDM Wire operator to work with multiple thru wire EDM machines and sinker EDM machines.
• You will be responsible for EDM machinery to cut intricate, precision parts from metal using a thin electrically charged wire.
• Experience as an EDM operator or similar machining specialist is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Wire EDM machine operation and setup.
• Proficiency with CNC programing and related software.
• Program and complete the setup of EDM machine according to engineering specifications.
• Operate the machine to produce precision parts and monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance on the equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and ensure they meet all specifications.
• Familiarity with G-code programing, CAD and CAM software applications.
• Detail oriented.
• Background in tool and die making.
• Completion of apprenticeship/journey program helpful, not required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
