Job summary

Novo Precision LLC in Bristol, CT is seeking a skilled Wire EDM Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, program, and run Wire EDM equipment to produce high‑precision components in accordance with engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate has experience in precision manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with tight tolerances. Previous WEDM or CNC experience is preferred, with a willingness to learn WEDM processes.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and specifications is desirable.
• Understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wire EDM equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Read blueprints and specifications to guide machining.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust for quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure tolerances.
• Document production and inspection results accurately.
• Collaborate with Programming, Engineering, Quality, and other team members.

This position will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Wire EDM equipment to produce high-precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.The ideal candidate will have experience working in a precision manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with tight tolerances.
