Job Title: WIRE DRAW MACHINE OPERATOR

Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Wire Draw Machine Operator to join our team in Akron. The successful candidate will operate wire drawing machines to shape, reduce, or emboss wire according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Operate wire drawing machines to shape or emboss wire.
• Review work orders and select appropriate shaping, reducing, or embossing roller dies based on specifications.
• Position roller dies in the machine and secure them with setscrews.
• Insert wire into the feed mechanism, start the machine, and monitor its operation.
• Measure wire thickness with a micrometer to ensure compliance with specifications.
