Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Mid-Level Wire Design & Installation Engineer in Hazelwood, MO to support the Air Dominance program. You will design and maintain cable/wire harness systems, perform design reviews, and document electrical components for production and installation.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience; Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Mentor wiring tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering directly related to electrical, mechanical or aeronautical work.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience or equivalent
• Active US Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
• Analyzes results and performs design reviews.
• Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
• Develops basic statements of work.
• Participates in supplier capability reviews to facilitate source selection.
• Ensures integrated design through analysis of functional and physical inputs.
