Job summary

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Mid-Level Wire Design & Install Engineer for a 1-year on-site contract in Long Beach, CA. You will design and implement electrical systems for commercial aircraft, including retrofits and connectivity systems, coordinating with customers and suppliers to meet complex requirements.

The role emphasizes detailed wiring/harness design, collaboration across disciplines, and documentation for manufacturing and installation.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of related electrical design and installation experience.
Knowledge of verification, validation and certification processes.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems, including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing, and antenna configurations.
Create and maintain detailed designs for cable and wire harness assemblies.
Work with customers and suppliers to develop and document complex requirements.
Document processes, specifications, and procedures to support design and manufacturing.
Review supplier data to ensure system integration and compliance.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to airlines and modification sites.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile environment to deliver solutions.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency.
