Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a Wire Supervisor at our RDC/Branch. You’ll oversee wire cutting, handling, and team leadership, ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, mechanical aptitude with cutting equipment, and the ability to read English safety materials. Join a culture of growth within a well-established electrical distributor.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• PIT proficiency: reach truck, order picker, sit-down propane. Certification a plus.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling small parts.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Strong Communication skills.
• Learn and understand differences in wire sizes and types.
• Ensure wire product is handled to prevent damage during cutting, storage or shipment.
• Use and train on machines for cutting and measuring wire.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions in English.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Operate within SOPs and OSHA safety standards.
• Stage product for loading and unload materials from trucks.
• Move materials to warehouse storage.
