Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in a large distribution center. You will review tickets, measure and cut wire, label finished items, unload and reload reels, and maintain wire room organization.

The role requires attention to detail, accurate communication, safety consciousness, and the ability to work Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10pm at $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Review customer ticket and accurately determine appropriate size reel and type, size and color of wire needed to complete order
• Correctly measure and cut wire to customer specifications.
• Properly label all completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer label.
• Unload empty reels and reload new reels onto wire machine
• Restock and replenish wire on wire cutting racks
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of wire room area
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Other duties as assigned
