Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support wire operations in a large distribution center. You will review tickets, measure and cut wire, label cuts, and manage reels while keeping the workspace clean and safe.

This full-time role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment, with a regularly scheduled 2pm–10pm shift and full benefits through the Sonepar group.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Review customer ticket and accurately determine appropriate size reel and type, size and color of wire needed to complete order
• Correctly measure and cut wire to customer specifications.
• Properly label all completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer label.
• Unload empty reels and reload new reels onto wire machine
• Restock and replenish wire on wire cutting racks
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of wire room area
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climbto perform various duties.
• The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.

• This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.

Salary Range: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm.

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Work Hours: $21/hr.
