Staffmark Group is hiring a Wire Cutter in Austin, TX. The role involves cutting and handling various wire sizes, tracking footage, and accurately updating reel tags while maintaining inventory integrity.

Ideal candidates have prior wire-cutting experience, at least one year with a reach truck, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Steel-toed boots and the ability to read orders are required for daily tasks in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Previous wire-cutting experience required.
• Experience cutting VNTC, THHN, XHHW, SER, URD, and medium-voltage cable.
• At least one year of reach-truck experience.
• High school diploma or GED, six months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to lift and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Ability to read customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders.
• Strong attention to inventory and measurement accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Cut and spool various wire sizes using wire-cutting equipment.
• Track wire footage and update reel tags.
• Report low inventory levels.
• Read and fulfill customer and transfer orders.
• Move materials from receiving to storage areas.
• Scan, sort, and store products in assigned locations.
• Assemble customer orders.
• Stage orders on pallets or shelves.
• Deliver orders to packing or shipping areas.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Complete cycle counts.
• Verify stock quantities.
• Operate a reach truck after company certification.
