Job summary

NEOTech in Chatsworth, CA is seeking an entry-level to experienced technician to operate wire bond equipment in a clean-room setting, supporting high-reliability microelectronic device manufacturing. Responsibilities include interpreting instructions, setting up equipment, tuning programs, and performing ESD/wire bond tests with precise measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read/write/speak English at an intermediate level.
• Experience with Windows OS and MS Office preferred.
• Experience in ISO9000 or AS9100 environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings and work instructions.
• Set up and run automatic and manual wire bond equipment.
• Handle computers to fine tune machine programs.
• Perform tests for ESD, wire bond and ribbon bond requirements.
• Use fine tools under a microscope (tweezers, calipers, probes, etc.).
• Inspect devices for defects to drawings/specs and procedures.
