Job summary

AtWork Group in Florida is seeking a Wire Assembly Technician for heavy equipment manufacturing. You will install, route, connect and secure wiring and wire harnesses during assembly, focusing on audio systems, hydraulic controls and related components.

You will read wiring diagrams and instructions, cut and crimp wires, install connectors, and work both first/second shifts and weekends as needed. This role requires attention to detail and safe work practices in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with electrical wiring, wire harness assembly, automotive electrical systems, equipment assembly, or similar manufacturing work preferred.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of 12V/24V electrical systems is preferred.
• Experience installing automotive or heavy-equipment audio, accessory, or hydraulic control wiring is a plus.
• Ability to use basic electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify proper wire routing and connections.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Install connectors, terminals, plugs, wire loom, clamps, and protective coverings.

Wire Assembly Technician – Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Job Summary - First shift, second shift & weekend work The Wire Assembly Technician is responsible for installing, routing, connecting, and securing electrical wiring and related components during the manufacturing and assembly of heavy equipment. This position will primarily support the installation of audio/stereo systems, hydraulic control wiring, switches, accessories, and other electrical components according to specifications and production requirements.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the shift.

Ability to work inside, underneath, and around heavy equipment during assembly.

Ability to perform repetitive hand movements associated with wiring, crimping, fastening, and assembly work.
