Job summary

JBT Marel is hiring to build and install wiring and electrical systems on equipment before shipment in a team environment. You’ll wire junction boxes, plan efficient layouts, and ensure compliance with specs and codes.

The role requires physical capacity, the ability to pass a drug screen, and familiarity with ERP systems. A technical degree is preferred and candidate must be organized and deadline-driven.

The Role

In this position, you’ll build, install, and prepare wiring and electrical systems on equipment prior to shipment. We’re looking for someone who brings strong communication skills and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre Wire equipment with Junction boxes and wiring connections per wiring schematics.


• Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.


• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical devices.


• Builds and installs control and control equipment such as switches, relays.


• Connects power cables to equipment.


• Operate lift truck with certification.


• Other duties assigned due to the need of the business.
