Job summary

Wintrust is seeking a Summer IT Intern to contribute to data management, software development, and process improvement across its digital platforms. The 12-week program runs May through August with a 40-hour work week and a $19/hour pay rate, based in Rosemont, IL.

Interns collaborate with Data, Content, Marketing, and Software Engineering teams, gain hands-on experience with enterprise tools, and participate in intern activities designed to build technical skills and business acumen.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university, with preference for juniors/seniors.
• Concentrations in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, CS, CE, or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ on 4.0 scale.
• Experience with Python, R, or C++ programming.
• Authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify data quality issues/bad merges in Master Data Management and prepare data for validation.
• Develop Customer Journeys and Experiences using Adobe Experience Manager.
• Collaborate with Marketing UI/UX teams to create engaging customer experiences.
• Assist Software Engineering to develop and maintain Wintrust websites and modules.
• Support Program/Project Management and Business Analysis activities.
• Meet with business partners, document requirements, and build project plans.

Wintrust offers the opportunities to grow and develop your career and fosters a promote from within culture. **IT** **Intern Job Responsibilities:*** Identify data quality issues/bad merges within Master Data Management system and prepare the list for the Data Steward validation and build reference data model/data sets supporting Enterprise Reference Data Management use cases.* Work with the Content Authoring team to develop Customer Journeys and Customer Experiences using Adobe Experience Manager. Partner with Marketing User Interface and User Experience teams to develop engaging customer experiences.* Work with the Software Engineering team to develop software code for building and managing Wintrust's 85+ different websites, building modules, and customizing the customer experience.* Assist the team with Program and Project Management, and Business Analysis.
