Legends Global Destination El Paso seeks a Seasonal Event Manager to run the outdoor ice rink and festival at Convention Center Plaza from November 2025 to January 2026. You will oversee staff, manage ticket sales, skate rentals, and guest services, and ensure safety protocols.

The role requires outstanding customer service, flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, and the ability to thrive in an outdoor, variable-weather setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Seasonal role running November 2025 through January 2026 with 20–40 hours/week.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Outdoor venue; dress for cold and variable weather.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rink and festival operations and staff.
• Assign shifts, monitor performance, and ensure safety protocols.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with leads and other staff on daily tasks.
• Manage ticket sales, skate rentals, and guest greetings.
• Maintain clean, organized area and manage inventory.

the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has excellent and immediate openings for a Seasonal Event Manager to work El Paso's outdoor ice rink and festival at Convention Center Plaza in downtown from November 2025 to January 2026. The Rink Manager will be responsible for: Overseeing Operations for the following:

• Managing full ice rink staff
• Skate Pass Sales
• Skate Rentals
• Ice Rink Operations
• Greeting Patrons and handling customer issues
• Special Feature Operations
• Daily set up and clean up

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Exceptional customer service REQUIRED
• Oversee the operation of the rink area
• Manage opening and closing procedures for The Rink
• Assign staff to their shift positions and monitor performanceEnsure safety protocols are followed
• Coordinate with Leads and other staff
• Troubleshoot customer issues and manage escalations
• Report daily rink attendance numbers
• Computer savvy, familiar with Microsoft Outlook
• Time-keeping of Seasonal Staff
• Managing customer service of staff on shift
• Must ensure and maintain a clean and organized area for patrons
• Manage supply inventory
• Duties include ticket sales, skate rentals, Greeting, Ice Rink & Special Features Operations and daily set up and clean up
• Answer and appropriately respond to customer needs
• Communicate with internal departments to address critical needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Outdoor venue - in possible cold and hot conditions
• Uniform(s) provided upon hire

QUALIFICATIONS

Prefer candidates that are FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL and have previous retail, food service, or other customer service positions.

• Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be available to work 20-40 hours a week between November 1, 2026, and January 17, 2027
• Must work nights, weekends, and holidays
