Job summary

Burlington Township School District is seeking a dedicated Winter Track Assistant Coach to lead and mentor student-athletes at BTHS. You will plan practices, develop game strategies, and provide guidance to help athletes improve skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The ideal candidate will have NJ certification, coaching experience at the HS level, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey teaching certification or substitute certification.
• Previous high school coaching experience.
• Knowledge of sport techniques and training methods.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of the program.
• Develop fundamental skills, techniques, and game strategies with players.
• Create practice plans, drills, and conditioning programs with the coaching staff.
• Mentor student-athletes to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and character.
• Attend practices, games, meetings, and events as required by the head coach and athletic department.
• Assist in scouting opponents, analyzing game film, and preparing game plans.
