Job summary

The Town of Parker is seeking a front-line operator to maintain and operate snow removal equipment including dump trucks with plows and sanders. You will document assignments and work within town policies while serving the community with safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a Colorado driver’s license; a Class B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements is preferred. Expect 12-hour shifts during winter conditions and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Colorado Driver's License.
• Class B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements preferred.
• Snow removal experience with a municipal agency is preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts during emergencies.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate dump trucks with plow and sanders for snow removal.
• Maintain records of assignments completed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational values, policies and procedures.
• Work on call during the winter season, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
