City of Soldotna is seeking a full-time Streets & Maintenance Operator/Worker to support the operation and upkeep of streets, storm drainage systems, parks, public buildings, the Soldotna Municipal Airport, sewer collection, and water distribution networks. This role reports to the Streets & Maintenance Department Manager and may perform other assigned tasks.

The City of Soldotna has an immediate opening for a full-time Streets & Maintenance Operator/Worker.

Under the direct supervision of the Streets & Maintenance Department Manager, this position performs tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the City including; streets, storm drainage systems, parks, public buildings, the Soldotna Municipal Airport, sewer collection system, water supply storage and distribution systems, and other miscellaneous work as assigned.

This position requires an Alaska Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B with airbrake and tanker validation and current medical examiners certification) for operation of vehicles and heavy equipment. Employee must have and maintain a good driving record. A pre-employment drug test will be required.
