Qualifications

• High school graduate or HSE preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must be able to move 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical activities for long periods.
• Must endure inclement weather.
• Must operate specialty traffic equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours during winter operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic highway maintenance and traffic equipment.
• Move and load supplies and materials.
• Winter operation duties including snow and ice removal.
• Emergency response activities such as clean-up, traffic control, and barricades.
• Equipment maintenance and pre-trip inspections.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous labor tasks and write job documentation in WMS.
