Hartford HealthCare invites students to apply for the 2026-27 Winter Internship in Respiratory Therapy. The program offers immersive learning with direct patient care under supervision in an acute hospital setting.

Interns must be enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory program and hold BLS/ACLS certification. The internship includes December/January shifts across CT locations with potential for ongoing paid training and per diem opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory program with an expected graduation date within 6-12 months of internship
• BLS / ACLS Certification

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care within a defined scope of practice under supervision of an RCP preceptor
• Shadow and work in an acute hospital setting to gain foundational didactic and practical learning experiences
